AI for car dealers should not be a gimmick. It should help with the jobs that decide whether enquiries turn into appointments, whether stock gets enough attention and whether the team knows what to do next.
TraderWay AI Agent and AI Assistant are being built around that principle. The aim is simple: use the dealership data already inside TraderWay to find useful opportunities, answer practical questions and prepare follow-up that the dealer can review before sending.
What is TraderWay AI Agent?
TraderWay AI Agent is a paid add-on that gives dealers a command centre for automated opportunity spotting and draft-first follow-up. It can look at leads, stock, subscribers, reservations, invoices, valuations, contacts and calendar activity, then turn those signals into recommendations and prepared customer messages.
Instead of asking a dealer to start with a blank prompt, AI Agent starts with templates for common dealership jobs: quiet lead win-back, seller lead follow-up, stock match emails, aged stock promotion, new enquiry welcome and review requests.
What is TraderWay AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant is the plain-English question layer. A dealer can ask things like "what is the last invoice I created?", "show open leads that have gone quiet", "which vehicles should I promote?" or "what needs attention today?".
That matters because dealership data is only useful when staff can get to it quickly. The assistant is designed to shorten the path from question to action.
Why draft-first AI matters
Customer communication should stay under dealer control. TraderWay's AI workflow is designed to prepare drafts first, then let the dealer review, edit, approve, send or discard them. That keeps the speed advantage of AI without turning customer contact into a black box.
How it fits into TraderWay
AI Agent sits alongside the existing website and DMS workflow. It is not a separate app. Dealers can move between assistant answers, configured agents, draft messages and run history from the same admin area they already use for stock, enquiries, invoices and settings.
What dealers can use it for
- Finding quiet website enquiries before they go cold.
- Following up seller and part-exchange leads.
- Matching interested buyers with fresh or relevant stock.
- Promoting aged stock that needs more attention.
- Summarising invoices, reservations, valuations and daily priorities.
- Preparing review requests after a positive sale or handover.
Pricing and trial access
The AI Agent add-on is planned at £29 per month. Dealers on a TraderWay trial can enable it free during the trial period, then continue with it as a paid add-on when their selected subscription starts.
